Project Rama

Larger than the empire state building HSG was a finalist in the development of the Ramayana museum landmark sculpture project. Designed to signpost the new museum due to be constructed on the banks of the Sarayu river in Ayodhya. Our concept enabled visitors to walk up the outside of the massive piece of artwork to reach a built in viewing platform looking over the river and the lands beyond. The statue aims to become recognised as a must visit place of worship, contemplation and inspiration for the future.

Development sketch work of ideas lead to the submission of a scale model of the God Rama. The seventh Avatar of Vishnu known as the supreme being and famous for the power of flight.

In battle he wields the sword and bow of Vayu and shoots flaming arrows.
